Max Beeman

Max's research focuses on exploring the suitability of two-phase computational models for combined wind-wave loading on coastal structures. She is interested in wind-wave interaction, boundary layers, and large eddy simulation. Outside of lab, she enjoys building a supportive community for women and gender non-conforming engineering researchers at Stanford through the ME Women and Gender Minorities Group, getting off campus for sports games (go Valks!), and playing ice hockey in a local rec league.
